The biomechanical assessment of the foot arises from the need to have to evaluate the degree of pathology of a complex body segment such as foot, the effectiveness of treatments established, the evolution of patients treated and the management of associated health resources all increasingly in a more interdisciplinary and multicentric way. It is therefore a pressing need to standardize some knowledge about biomechanics in podiatry and not less important, to establish basic criteria of treatments depending on the pathologies. For all of thism to this day, technology cannot be left aside as a great ally in these tasks. This is the reason why the Podiatrain project is created in order to unify both diagnostic and treatment criteria, with the aim of providing its students with the latest scientific and technological advances in the field of clinical biomechanical assessment and treatments foot.

This course develops the techniques of exploration and orthopedic treatments currently performed in the most advanced schools, being of interest for their different vision and therefore being a complement to the techniques already used in our practice.
